Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for stocking and merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Collaborate with team members and management to ensure the store operates smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory management and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies ensuring security and confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Fulfill state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages if applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is an advantage
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered
