Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Stroke care to join our exceptional team at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a member of our Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurses team, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with neurological impairments such as strokes, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, and brain injuries, among others. Your responsibilities will involve utilizing evidence-based practices, clinical decision-making, and skilled communication to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Completion of an accredited Nursing program.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated progression in holistic patient care and critical decision-making skills.
- Proficient computer skills and use of electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
