Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments.
- Clean patient care equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation of the sterilization process.
- Report abnormalities to leadership.
- Participate in receiving and reprocessing activities for loaner and consignment sets.
- Assist in training new staff or OR cross training to Sterile Processing.
- Support surgical services with additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: CRCST or CSPDT or CST certificate.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
