Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide our customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Provide feedback on products, manage inventory counts, and adhere to cash policies.
• Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring data security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Able to operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
