Job Description

We are looking for a Store Management Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare you for successfully managing a store. You will be involved in supervising store operations, ensuring top-notch customer service, managing staffing needs, developing operational plans, and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day store operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Implement company strategies and core values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Handle customer concerns effectively and maintain product quality.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance expectations for team members.
  • Conduct store meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions.
  • Ensure store payroll and budgets are met while monitoring inventory levels.
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior retail experience, preferably with some management experience.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, personnel management, and inventory control.
  • Operational knowledge of cash registers and store equipment.
