Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks including stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
  • Participate in store inventory counts according to guidelines
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures
  • Comply with company policies while maintaining document security

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safe operation of store equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling (if applicable)
