Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. From merchandising products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to the overall success of our store operation.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate openly and collaborate with team members and management.
- Contribute feedback on products and operational issues to enhance store performance.
- Participate in inventory procedures and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company guidelines for security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
- Capable of physical tasks like stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience desirable.
