Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. From merchandising products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to the overall success of our store operation.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
  • Communicate openly and collaborate with team members and management.
  • Contribute feedback on products and operational issues to enhance store performance.
  • Participate in inventory procedures and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company guidelines for security and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
  • Capable of physical tasks like stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience desirable.
