Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate consistent adherence to the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases accurately, maintain cleanliness in the store, and arrange merchandise displays neatly.
• Assist customers during their shopping experience, communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and issues to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in store inventory checks, follow cash handling policies, and uphold company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of working independently or in a team setting with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
