Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join Aldi's team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for various in-store activities such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness standards to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Perform cashier duties, stocking, and maintaining product displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cash handling guidelines.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
