Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join ALDI's team. As a key member, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core values in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies to safeguard data and documents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Engage in various physical activities within the store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in customer service and operating a cash register.
• Able to use store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
