Job Description

As a Store Operations Assistant at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to company standards.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory management tasks and adhere to cash handling policies.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and data security measures.

Physical Demands

  • Stock and organize merchandise, including lifting items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, and carrying items.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in customer service and cash register operations.
  • Capable of operating store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
