Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain neat merchandise displays, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts as per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.

Physical Demands

Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform various physical tasks within the store environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
