Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Conduct inventory counts, monitor inventory accuracy, and provide feedback on product quality and store operations.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize errors and losses.
- Follow company policies securely and maintain confidentiality of information and data.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties and follow established procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
