Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, participate in store inventory counts, and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to ensure minimal losses.
• Follow company procedures, maintain document confidentiality, and uphold security standards.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• High school diploma preferred; retail experience is a plus.
