Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. principles consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products and inventory issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and data security standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining store cleanliness to standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Compliance with state and local regulations on selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
