Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a full-time member, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional service to our customers. From merchandising and stocking products to cashiering and maintaining cleanliness, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy according to guidelines.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and maintain security.
• Follow company procedures while upholding confidentiality and security standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in retail operations is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• High attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales and handling.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
