Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of the store operations, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, stocking products, and ensuring the cleanliness of the store. Your role will contribute to enhancing the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and arrange merchandise displays
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and ensure exceptional service
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and help in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• General cleaning abilities and adherence to company policies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Capacity to work independently and within a team environment
• Organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task professionally
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience is a plus
