Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Store Team Member to join our dedicated team at Aldi. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
