Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Report feedback to management on product quality and inventory issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Operate store equipment safely and properly
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable
