Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team as a Store Team Member at ALDI! In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as outlined in the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases and maintain a neat store appearance
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
• Contribute feedback to enhance product quality and store operations
• Follow cash handling policies and ensure compliance with company regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Capable of fulfilling general cleaning duties to company standards
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail
• Work well both independently and in a team setting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
