Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
