Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold our commitment to excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain neat displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Conduct store inventory counts as required and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality and security.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Skilled in operating equipment and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
