Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with your team, you will create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficient cash register operation and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate equipment like a hand jack and floor scrubber.
• High standards for cleanliness and organization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
• Fulfill state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
