Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capacity to follow company policies and maintain cleanliness standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• High school diploma preferred; retail experience a plus
