Store Team Member

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member where you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Collaborate with the ALDI team, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Physical Demands

• Stocking merchandise and lifting up to 45 pounds
• Standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the store
• Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Skilled in operating store equipment
• Ability to follow company policies and standards
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
• Familiarity with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
