Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the store's appearance and operations. As a Store Associate, you will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the customer shopping experience through merchandising, cashiering, and cleaning tasks. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience and knowledge of handling alcoholic beverages are advantageous.
