Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment while providing exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $17.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with management.
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company procedures and maintain document security.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking, lifting, and cleaning as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Capable of providing prompt and courteous service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Follow cleaning standards and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
