Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a superior shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (MAP) consistently
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Comply with company policies, uphold security measures, and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning tasks as per company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
