Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Store Team Member! In this role, you'll be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide top-notch customer service. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Monitor inventory, adhere to cash handling procedures, and uphold company policies

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in a retail environment desirable
