Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store, including merchandising, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position, with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service, assist customers, and communicate effectively with the team.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, ensure security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
• Proficiency in operating equipment and following company policies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Experience and education combination will be considered.
