Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your commitment to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
• Adhere to company policies, maintain security of documents and data
• Complete any other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy
• Safely use equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers
• Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet all state and local requirements related to alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience will be considered
