Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type

• Full-Time
• 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets and Competencies
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company procedures and maintain document security

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds
• Perform various physical tasks within the store
• Ability to work with or without accommodation

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Customer service and cash register proficiency
• Operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking capabilities
• Meet requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
