Job Description

We are looking for a Store Team Member to join ALDI's team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your focus will be on enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers through exceptional service and teamwork.

Salary

Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to offer courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and equipment
• Capability to follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
