Responsibilities

• Perform duties related to customer service, stocking, and sanitation in assigned department(s).
• Follow department procedures for product preparation, storage, rotation, and stocking.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cases and shelves.
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling techniques.
• Comply with established procedures and safety regulations.

Desired Work Experience

• No prior retail experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of department products.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Exposure to various temperatures and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in wet and/or cold environments.
