Tradesman Plumber

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tradesman Plumber to join our team at Levy & Son - Service Experts. As a Plumber Level I, you will be responsible for a wide range of plumbing duties, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements and timelines.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
• Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior plumbers and helpers.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Plumber Helper or Apprentice or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid plumbing license/certification is preferred. Valid driver's license required.
