VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for a visionary VP, Late Development Team Lead to join our global biopharmaceutical company, Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the Late Development Team Lead, you will play a critical role in leading the Late Development Team to establish and execute a global product strategy, integrating scientific rationale, clinical and nonclinical development, regulatory, medical, commercial input, and more.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more cross-functional Late Development Teams from proof of concept to approval.
• Establish product vision and strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Identify strategic global product development opportunities and optimize value for patients.
• Develop and approve Integrated Product Development Plans for governance.
• Ensure team accountability, mediate conflict resolution, and promote team cohesiveness.
• Mentor team members, challenge strategies, and provide input for key positions.

Requirements

• +15 years of global multi-disciplinary drug development experience in pharma/biotech.
• Proven leadership in late-stage drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Experience in leading collaborations and alliances in a complex environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, cross-cultural management, and leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with diverse stakeholders.

Educational Requirement

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) is required.
