VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking for a talented VP, Late Development Team Lead specializing in Oncology to join our innovative team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As the Late Development Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing global product strategies for our late-stage development projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in progressing products from proof of concept to approval, ensuring alignment with the Target Product Profile and optimizing value for patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Late Development Teams in defining and executing product strategies from POC to approval.
• Develop global Integrated Product Development Plans and oversee regulatory filings.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to functional matrix teams, ensuring optimal team performance and cohesiveness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive development strategies and optimize product value.
• Lead and align organizations to execute approved product strategies, ensuring timely escalation of risks and issues.
• Contribute to disease area assessments and portfolio-level initiatives.

Required Skills

• +15 years of global drug development experience with a focus on oncology.
• Proven leadership in late-stage drug development programs with a track record of innovation.
• Strategic cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to engage and lead global teams.
• Prior experience in large scale oncology drug development and regulatory submissions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound, timely decisions.

Education and Licenses

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
