Job Description
We are looking for an entry-level Warehouse Associate to join the team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This role offers part-time hours, typically fewer than 30 hours per week, in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. A comprehensive training program is provided to equip you with the necessary skills for success.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise in the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
- Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines for equipment operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
