Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with care.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Communicate clearly with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to improve operations.
- Conduct store inventory counts as required.
- Handle cash transactions and adhere to company policies.
- Comply with all company procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Capable of providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Skilled in cleaning tasks and following company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
