1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker. Our warehouse operations ensure that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for customers to enjoy. We are looking for dedicated individuals to work part-time, with fewer than 30 hours per week, in ambient and temperature-controlled areas. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and communicate safety concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and within a team.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures, hot and cold environments.
