1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join Aldi, a leading company in the retail industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, selection, and delivery of products to our stores. Your responsibilities will include stock selection, merchandise organization, shipment preparation, inventory control, and maintaining warehouse standards. The position offers competitive pay starting at $23.75 per hour and valuable part-time employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Provide feedback for process improvement and help achieve budget goals.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to meet ALDI Acts competencies: conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, success orientation, and efficiency.
• Strong communication, math, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate equipment safely.
• Comfortable with various warehouse temperatures and industrial equipment.
