Job Description
Blount Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine Program. As an Athletic Trainer, you will provide comprehensive athletic training services at sporting events, community activities, and in clinical settings. You will assess athletes, monitor progress, provide physical therapy care, and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess athletes and monitor their progress.
- Provide physical therapy care based on population-specific needs.
- Educate patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Current Athletic Training license in Tennessee.
- CPR Certification.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems.
