Job Description
Join Bank Iowa Corporation as the Community Bank President and Ag Lender in Newton. In this role, you will lead the team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants, generate quality Ag and Commercial loans, represent the bank in the community, and drive business development initiatives. As a key figure in Southeast Iowa, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and growing the bank's portfolio through strong client relationships and community involvement.
Responsibilities
- Champion the bank's values and strategic direction, acting as the primary representative in the community.
- Lead community business development efforts to achieve loan and deposit growth goals.
- Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio, fostering client relationships and promoting business growth within the region.
- Participate in civic and community activities to establish the bank as a center of influence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field with 7+ years of lending and banking experience.
- Strong Agriculture background preferred.
- Extensive supervisory and management experience.
- Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, credit analysis or underwriting skills, and proven sales experience.
