Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
Physical Demands
- Stock merchandise and place products on shelves (up to 45 pounds)
- Perform various physical activities around the store
Qualifications
- Age requirement: 18 years or older
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate cash register efficiently
- Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience is a plus
