Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration with the Aldi team and a focus on outstanding customer service are at the heart of this role.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Ability to operate equipment and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
