Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the store's cleanliness and organization.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies and uphold security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively and work independently or within a team.
- Stay organized, pay attention to detail, and follow instructions.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
