Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I role at Flexential is a key position responsible for delivering physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources in a 24x7x365 environment. This role requires a strong grasp of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and management applications. The ideal candidate must be able to represent Flexential professionally and technically, providing timely resolutions to issues with a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain a professional attitude and conduct while in the performance of data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using Flexential's ticketing system.
- Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
- Maintain cleanliness of the Data Center and supporting areas.
- Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate pertinent information.
- Operate and Manage Badge Access Security System.
- Assist Critical Infrastructure Manager (CIM) as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for providing excellent customer experience.
- Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Self-starter with strong motivation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, commitment, and meeting deadlines.
- Preferably 1 year experience in IT Support environment.
- AA, BS, or High School Diploma required.
- Network +, Security +, or CCNA desired.
Preferred Qualifications
- Physical Requirements including climbing ladders and lifting objects.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures and install cabling.

Base Pay Range: ($19.33 - $22.67)
