Dispatcher

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dispatcher to join our team at Rich Transport LLC. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing daily dispatch operations by handling dispatch calls, verifying trailer numbers, entering Bill of Lading information, and ensuring timely deliveries. Your responsibilities will include managing driver schedules, monitoring load statuses, and communicating any delays to the relevant departments.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update Bill of Lading information, ETA, PTAs, and trailer numbers regularly.
• Communicate and coordinate with load planners, coordinators, and management to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records of driver activities, truck mileages, and delivery schedules.
• Perform daily check calls with drivers and assist in addressing any operational issues promptly.
• Assist in managing driver board, ensuring all loads are delivered on time.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with McLeod database and manifest building is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
