Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling
- General cleaning duties to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
