Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's operations run smoothly and that customers have an exceptional shopping experience. From cashiering and stocking products to maintaining cleanliness, your contributions will be vital.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their queries
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report any issues to management
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 18
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment and adherence to safety procedures
- Ability to maintain store cleanliness to company standards
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent multitasking skills
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail experience is advantageous
- Combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable
